Every scene needs somewhere to meet. BBS HQ is a home base for the people keeping bulletin boards alive: the sysops who run them, the callers who dial in, and the artists who draw them.

It opens with the directory. Every board in the Telnet BBS Guide and on The Vortex's own list is dialled, the way a caller would, for the art it shows before login, and checked again every night so you know what still answers.
